She was predeceased by : her parents, John Westley and Cinderella Johnson Reddick; her husband Murphy Smith Sr.; her grandsons, Shawn Davis and Larry Smith II; and her siblings, Augusta Davis, Dolly Edgerson, Louis, John, Lawrence, Wilfred, Daniel, Edward and Warren Reddick.
She is survived by : her family Bernice; her children, Vera S. Depland, Janice C. Smith, Lillie S. Williams, Elaine S. Ragas (Albert), Carolyn S. Pansy (Eugene), Sylvia S. Davis (Ernest), Murphy Smith Jr. (Rebecca) and Larry Smith; and her goddaughter Rosalie Armant. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
