Beverly Brooks Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Brooks (New Orleans, Louisiana), who passed away on July 7, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira J. Cantrelle and Thelma Nicholas Cantrelle; her husband Almiro Brooks; her son Ronald Edwards; her son-in-law Ricky Jackson; and her brothers, Ellis Cantrelle, Victor Cantrelle and David Cantrelle.

She is survived by: her children, George J Edwards, III (Vanessa) and Anita E Jackson; her stepchildren, Martha Brooks (Brent), Thomas Brooks and Nadine; and her siblings, Ira J Cantrelle, Jr. (Marian) and Pearl Cantrelle. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A Mass was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM.
