Though Bruce may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bruce touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jacob Wilson and Leona LaRue Wilson; and his wife Amanda Wilson. He is survived by: his children, Bruce L. Wilson, Jr. (Amanda) and Rodriguez (Ricky); his stepchildren, Nathan Rogers and Mary Beth Gonzales; and his close friend Judy Jordan. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven sisters; eight brothers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Troutman Funeral Home (345 N Main St, Troutman, NC 28166). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
