He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Segrave Munch; his sons, Eric V. Munch and Christopher J. Munch; his parents, John A. Munch (Sarah) and Hilda C. McCormick (Broward); and his siblings, Clyde A. Munch, Elaine Roberts, Ernie Tassin, Joy M. Koen and Linda Page.
He is survived by: his children, Carl J. Munch Jr. (Jessie), Joan "Kathy" Nuccio (Dominick) and Greg L. Munch (Tammy Nick); his grandchildren, Gene L. LeBouef Jr., Gina M. Finch (Tony), Kristy Evans (Bobby), Jeffrey D. Nuccio, Breann Ivers, Kimberlee Munch and Brianna Nick; his great grandchildren, Peyton Finch, Connor Evans, Parker Finch, Jordan Evans, Vance Finch and Max Finch; and his brother Orrin "Buddy" Munch. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Funeral Home (5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel (5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A burial will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (5190 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124).
