He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Britton and Cornelia Montgomery Britton. He is survived by: his wife Minnie Lee Britton; his children, Michelle B. Fairley, Andrea Jones (Troy) and Carroll Britton, Jr.; and his nieces, Mary Wilson and Betty Lou White. He is also survived by six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
