He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Matthew Hanner and Corinne Theresa Goux; his wife Kathleen Regan Hanner; his siblings, Mildred C. Ziegler, Mary Hanner Hirdes, Barney (B. M.), Benny P. and Alfred A. Hanner; and his son Glen M. Hanner.
He is survived by: his son Carroll "Chris" Hanner (Patricia); his daughter-in-law Sandra B. Hanner; his grandchildren, Gregory M. Hanner (Shanna), Brian N. Hanner, Jason P. Hanner and Jenny Montecino; his great grandchildren, Eliza, Elliott Hanner, Jolyn and Christopher Montecino; and his goddaughter Holly Beaulieau. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Funeral Home (5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
