She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Hampton and Thelma Hampton; and her brothers, Edmond and Leonard Hampton. She is survived by: her children, Donna Mason and Kenneth Johnson; her goddaughter Janet Marie Watis; her siblings, Annonia Terrell, Emma Hampton, Linda Anderson, Patricia George, Lisa Swain, Emile Hampton and Lionel Hampton; her cousin Gladys B. Brown; her grandchildren, Brian Burbank, Jessica Johnson, Angela Mason, Alisha Mason, Kenneth Johnson and Theo Ezento; her great grandchildren, Jayla and Jayden; Gerald Parker.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the New Hope Baptist Church (1807 Lasalle St, New Orleans, LA 70113). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Hope Baptist Church (1807 Reverend John Raphael Jr Way, New Orleans, LA 70113).
