She was predeceased by: her parents, Colbert Jackson and Loretta Doretta Harris Jackson; her husband Lemuel Walker, Sr.; her daughter Juliet Walker-Taylor; her great grandchildren, Rain and Snow Taylor; her siblings, Martha Jackson (Collins), Alma Gilmore (Crawford), Ethel Livers (Joseph), Elvira Red (Clarence), Delores Hayes, Clarence, Melvin and Hamilton Harris; and her son-in-law Odell Williams.

She is survived by: her children, Lemuel Walker, Jr., Joel Walker, Sr., Molly Morris (Sylvester) and Brenda Williams; her daughter-in-law Lelia Harleaux-Walker; and her sister Shirley Barnes of San Francisco, CA. She is also survived by six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, a host of extended family.
