It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Wayne Margavio (New Orleans, Louisiana), who passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Margavio and Alice Margavio. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Roccaforte Margavio; his son Wayne Margavio; his grandchildren, Landon, Harper and Olivia; his sisters, Deborah Margavio and Cindy Fox (Lee); and his siblings-in-law, Frank, David, Andrew Roccaforte (Lisa), Alicia Hayward and Michele Roccaforte. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Greenwood Funeral Home (5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel (5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (5190 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the same location.
