With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charmaine L Baker-Fox (New Orleans, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 15, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Bell Thurman Baker and Arthur Gaines; her son Jerome Anthony Fox, Sr.; her siblings, Quvette Baker and Arthur "June" Gaines; and her nephews, Melvin Baker and JeViaron Jones.
She is survived by: her husband Jerome Fox; her children, Lolita Lynette Fox (William Freeman), Shelita Monique Fox and Taran Monique Baker; her grandchildren, Jernay Inez Fox, Jerome Anthony Fox, Jr. of Jerome, Simmons, Jr., A'Maya Paige Freeman, Kamaria Tarel Clark and Quienterra Amaria Wilson; her siblings, Minister Clinton Louis Baker (Keokeoa Burton), Georgia Michelle Baker, Christy Williams, Blake Gaines, Sr., Deidre, Eileen and Franciska Gaines; and her godchildren, Tequila Thomas and Brené Johnson. She is also survived by many extended family members, friends.
A wake will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Israelite Baptist Church (2100 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70113).
