It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cheryl LANE Squire of New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Cheryl leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Lewis Squire and Lucille Smothers Squire; and her brother William H. Pate. She is survived by: her siblings, Johnny Squire, Jr., Rose Bourgeois and Antoinette Bocage. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the James Chapel Baptist Church (4228 Thalia St, New Orleans, LA 70125). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
