She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Gordon Sr. and Evelyn Gordon; and her siblings, Edward Gordon Jr., Calvin Gordon, Brenda Anderson and Mayetta Stroughter.
She is survived by: her children, Demairise Gordon (Tanya), Charles J. Taylor Jr. (Tiffany), Travena Green (James) and LaChandra Sedonia Taylor; her sisters, Julia Gordon, Madeline Davis, Gloria Wise and Merrylene Magee; her grandchildren, Charles J. Taylor III, Xavier Taylor, Karon Taylor, Nicholas Taylor, Kimani Taylor, Kendrick Taylor, Jordan Taylor and Karisa Green; and her great grandchildren, A'Mari Robinson, A'Mir Brown and Nola Taylor. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
