It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia Charlene Devore (New Orleans, Louisiana), who passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur G. H. DeVore, Sr. and Thelma N. Watson Sharp; her stepparents, Ethelda Simon DeVore and James Sharp; and her nephew Yrian DeVore.

She is survived by: her children, Reginald DeVore (Latisia), Latoyah Zacharie (Billy) and Sytillia Washington (Kevin); her grandchildren, Sy'lai Gabriel, Calvin Watkins, Christopher and Khrisette Rideau; her goddaughter Timil Bush; her siblings, Juanita Dianne Collins (Raymond), Darlene Mayes (Darrin), Natalie Sharp and Arthur G. H.; her sister-in-law Sonda Sharp; and her close friend Janice Watkins. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
