He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Mae Robinson and Edwin Robinson; and his brother Robert Ruffin. He is survived by: his children, Roshanda Scott, Jamelia Scott (Leroy Jr.), Darrielle Scott, Kierra Louis and Christopher Scott; his stepson Jamon Payton; his grandchildren, Ja'myre Scott, Leroy Smith III, Landyn Smith, Laithan Smith, Kimani Simmons, Kori Edwards, Christian Scott, Alani Scott, Christopher Scott Jr. and Lashanti Williams; and his sister Darlene Scott. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
