He is survived by: his children, Charles Dean, Derreck Dean, Frances Dean and Darrylynn Dean; his grandsons, Christopher Dean and Kyler-Dream Dean; his daughter-in-law Kiara Triggs; his adoptive daughter Charnell Julia Monique; and his former wives, Denise Coffey Dean and Frances Smith-Dean. He is also survived by several siblings and host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Bethany United Methodist Church (4533 Mendez St, New Orleans, LA 70126).
