He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Trusty Wessel; and his daughter Denise Wessel. He is survived by: his daughters, Cassandra Razin (Ross), Kristen David Wessel and Lara Kate Wessel; his grandchildren, Brian Razin, Matthew Razin, Ashley McDonell (Michael), Natasha Kobinger Wessel and Anais Kobinger Wessel; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Trusty Corey and Lynn "Cissie" Wessel. He is also survived by sixteen nieces, nephews.
