He was predeceased by: his parents, James West and Ursula West. He is survived by: his sister Deborah West Brown; his brother-in-law Gary Brown; his brother James West; his sister-in-law Janell West; his brother Donald West; his niece Jessica Scalise; his nephew James West; Michael Scalise.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Orleans Yacht Club (403 N Roadway St, New Orleans, LA 70124).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Cancer Foundation.
