She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin McBride and Ethel McBride; her brother Edward Turner; and her mother-in-law Lucille Smith. She is survived by: her spouse Terry Smith Sr.; her children, Terry Smith Jr., Terrica Smith and Dina Smith; her siblings, Nancy McDaniel (Joseph), Ethel Murry (John), Anita McBride (Sanford), Wanda Polk (Craig), Sidney McBride Sr. (Jimontanae), Cheryl McBride, Alex Turner, Kenneth McBride Sr. and Janice Jenkins Morris; her grandchildren, Terry Smith III, Tejay Smith, Tyree Smith and Dylan Smith; her great grandchild Terry Smith IV; and her godchildren, Matthew Tanner Jr., Sidney McBride Jr., Jakiera Caples, Devin Schaffer and Diamond Schaffer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Battle Ground Baptist Church (2241 Flood St, New Orleans, LA 70117). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Battleground Baptist Church (2241 Flood St, New Orleans, LA 70117).
