It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Mary Evans (New Orleans, Louisiana), who passed away on August 23, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Diane leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Evans and Lonie Evans; her great-nephew Eli Sims; and her brother-in-law Dean Church. She is survived by: her siblings, Sally Church, Frank Evans (Maureen), Michael Evans (Rachel) and Nancy Evans. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nephews as well as numerous cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Diane's family requests masses or donations to Shriners' Hospital for Children c/o Donor Relations, 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, Florida 33607 in Diane's memory.
