Dianne left this world on July 6, 2025 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Watson and Loretta Watson; and her husband Ferdinand Smith. She is survived by: her children, Larry Reed Jr. and Thiyonka Brown; and her siblings, Essex, Linda, Brenda, Jacquelyn and Kim. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home (4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Metairie, LA 70006). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
