He is survived by: his wife Linda Chatelain Gennaro; his children, Michael Gennaro (Deborah), Lucy Nourse (David) and Thomas Gennaro (Katique); his grandchildren, Angela Beler (Patrick), Kristina Locascio (Anthony), Vincent Gennaro (Amy), Bridget Correa (Mark), Teresa Gennaro, Elizabeth Frantz (Brian) and Dominic Gennaro; his great grandchildren, Philip, Luca, Grace, Cecilia, Michael, Nicolo, Alice, Julia and Audrey; his siblings, Victoria Fuselier, Flora Bealer and John Gennaro (Sandy); and his cousin Sicily. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
