She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Joseph French, Sr. and Clare Louise Fischer; and her husband Septime Joseph Poirrier, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Michele Zelenko (Bob), Angele Fitzhenry and Jeanelle Scheurich (Steven); her grandchildren, Brock Fitzhenry (Emily), Spencer Fitzhenry, Kade Fitzhenry, Kaitlyn Scheurich and Zachary Scheurich; her great grandchildren, Laikyn Fitzhenry and Aubrey Fitzhenry; her siblings, Raymond French, Jr. (Elaine) and Rosemary Gremillion (Bruce); and her caregiver Doris. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Greenwood Funeral Home (5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
