She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Barnes Jr. and Adele Nicholas Barnes Collins; her significant other Joseph L. Sullivan Sr.; and her son Joseph L. Sullivan Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Joella, Angela and Melanie Sullivan.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church (5621 Elysian Fields Ave, New Orleans, LA 70122). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
