She was predeceased by: her parents, Dovie Langston and Marshall Langston; and her husband Jay Jacoby. She is survived by: her daughter Jayne; her son-in-law Michael Rescoe; her sons, Jay (Gail Jacoby) and Jason (Arden Jacoby); and her grandchildren, Meredith, Meryl, Zachary Rescoe, Katherine, Samantha and Cooper Jacoby.

Donations made in honor of Dovie's life can be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
