It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Belgrade of New Orleans, Louisiana, born in Longview, Texas, who passed away on July 28, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Irivin S. Belgrade; her parents, Dolly Triplette Wallace and Samuel Hugh Wallace; her siblings, Elaine Johnson, Fredith Rester, Samuel Wallace, James Wallace, Laura Emberton, Franklin Wallace, Minnie Trappey and Theodore Debs Wallace; her siblings' children, Kathyrn Rose Wallace, James Wallace, Jr., Lloyd Wallace and Glen Dale Johnson; her great-niece Richelle Ruth Votaw; her friend Pearl Shemroske; and her close friend Lois Pittelkau.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly and Adam; her stepchildren, Miles, Linda and Alice; her daughters, Sonja and Andrea; her niece Nell; her grandchildren, Andrea, Kelly Elizabeth LaBuda and Adam Mitchell LaBuda; and her close friend Peggy Hall. She is also survived by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to her nephew Reverend Allen Johnson, Jr.'s, church.
