We announce the death of Eloise Doxie Dixon (New Orleans, Louisiana), who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Frederick Doxie and Francis Logan Doxie; and her sister Ernestine Ferguson. She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Nkrumah Dixon (Shantina Dixon) and Hasani Dixon (Kelly Dixon); her granddaughter Nia Sage Rayford Dixon; and her sister Ellen Bogues.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Wilson A. M. E. Church (11001 Chef Menteur Hwy, New Orleans, LA 70127). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM.
