She is survived by: her husband Joseph Johnson; her children, Charles Jones, Jr. and Estelle Robinson; her siblings, Marion Eugene (Paul), Gwendolyn Chess (Roy), Shelia Davis (Robert) and Joan Payne; her grandchildren, Lashawndra Jones (Laylah), Dero Ard, Trevone Newton, Kwesi Addison, Shanay Robinson, Charles Jones III (Jasper), Shawntay Jones, Stanley Robinson II and Tay Anthony; and her goddaughter Susie Harrison. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the True Believers Baptist Church (2621 Behrman Hwy, New Orleans, LA 70114). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at the Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery (3540 US-90, Avondale, LA 70094).
