She was predeceased by: her son Donyette Williams (Bernell, Jr.); her brother Edward Cyprian, Sr.; her husband David McGill, Sr.; her sons, David, Jr. and Rodney McGill; her grandson Djuan McGill; and her siblings, Nathaniel, Sr., Perry, Jr., Shirley, Emma, Inez Cyprian, Edna Anderson and Dorothy Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Sharron Holmes, Victor McGill, Donna Taylor (Glenn), Wendell (Denise) and Nathaniel Fortenberry; her grandchildren, Charles, III Holmes (Trashell), Dominique McGill, Sr., Donmeisha, Quanisha Murray, Dontae, Chassidy, Jalesa, Nicole Williams, Jordan Smith, Sr. and Amie Brown (Lance); her sisters, Helen, Dorothy Hampton and Bernadine Campbell; and her godson Rodney "Mikey" Brown.
