She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Waters; her parents, Robert, Sr. Lewis and Minerva Ross Lewis; and her sisters, Rebecca L. Sullen (Herbert, Sr.), Victoria L. Price (Alex, Sr.) and MaryLee L. McDonald (Lionel, Sr.).

She is survived by: her son Darryl Nicholas, Sr. (Krissy D.); her grandchildren, Arrainte' Turner (Errol), Daranika Nicholas, Nia Ross, Elexis Nicholas, Darryl Nicholas, Jr., Elesse Nicholas, Elissa Nicholas and Elaina White Nicholas; her brother Robert Lewis, Jr.; her aunt Gloria R. Corin; her close friends, Cathy Miller, Clara Moore and Deborah Johnson; and her cousin Robert. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
