She was predeceased by: her parents, Roosevelt Hunter and Mattie Belle Bridges McBride; her sons, Curtis Hunter and Michael Smith; her grandson Paul Edward Washington Jr.; and her siblings, Ella P. Hayes, Carolyn Sterling, Lonnie Ruth McBride, Willie Frank McBride and Emogene Phillips.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Paul Edward Washington Sr.; and her brother-in-law James E. Hayes. She is also survived by six nieces, seven nephews, and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, and countless of extended family members, church members, and friends.
