Felix J. Babin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Felix J. Babin (New Orleans, Louisiana), born in Raceland, Louisiana, who passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Waguespack Babin; his parents, Dalmas A. Babin and Inez Robichaux Babin; his brothers, Eugene J. Babin, Joseph Babin, Jerry Babin and Robert Babin; his granddaughter Rebecca K. Morrill; and his grandparents, Clovis and Florentine Babin.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Babin (Nancy), Kathleen Morrill (Gregory), Michael Babin, Pamela Hosch (Paul), Daniel Babin (Anita), Linda Margavio (Mark) and Karen Babin (Terri Foster); his sister Joyce Babin Dufrene; and his grandchildren, Scott, Jennifer, Aimee, Ross, Kevin, Laura, Benjamin, Gregory, Michael Paul, Meghan, Justin, Alyssa, Mary, Andrew and Dylan. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, please consider having a Mass said in his honor.
