He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferd Day Sr. of New Orleans and Juliette Day of New Orleans; his daughter Erica Albert; his brother Melvin Day; and his significant other Vickie Gilbert.
He is survived by: his brother Michael Day (Patricia McKnight); his cousins, Elie Randolph III (Yvette Randolph) and Eugeine Randolph Hyde; his friend Johnathan Vidato; his nieces, Ashley Smith (Ryan Smith) and Mikell McKnight; and his nephew Michael McKnight. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Plymouth Rock Baptist Church (233 Hillary St, New Orleans, LA 70118). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
