He was predeceased by: his significant other Margie Champagne Bucher; his parents, Sidonia Myers Bucher and Theodore P. Bucher; and his friend Lynwood "Buddy" Adams. He is survived by: his children, Christopher (Shawn), Gregory (Susie) and Patrice Bucher; his grandchildren, Christopher Theodore "Teddy" Bucher, Jr., Melissa Bucher (Nathan Elowe), Timothy Bucher (Megan), Stephanie Held (Jacob) and Allison Bucher; and his great grandchildren, Madeleine Bucher and Earl-Francis Bucher Elowe.

Masses are preferred in lieu of flowers.
