He was predeceased by: his son Frederick A. Palmer; and his cousin Reginald Thornton. He is survived by: his wife Bianca Stewart-Jones; his children, Marc Thomas, Bre'Jean Stewart, Delvin Alfred and Fre'Ja Stewart; his sister JoAnn Jones; and his niece Kia Jones. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gentilly Baptist Church (5141 Franklin Ave, New Orleans, LA 70122). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
