He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Washington and Ida Dangerfield Seymour; his siblings, Sandra Marie Myers and Gayle Thomas Butler; his grandson Gregory Hayes Jr.; his nephews, Terrence Brigalia and Kevin Myers; and his niece Christina Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Washington; his children, Kevin (Lerocka), Schwanda, Nicole and Laquita; his stepchildren, Corey, Tiffany, Gwendolyn, Brenda and Eniska; and his siblings, Andrea Brigalia (Kenneth), Charles Hill and Reginald Washington. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Boyd Family Funeral Home (5001 Chef Menteur Hwy, New Orleans, LA 70126). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
