He was predeceased by: his son Lawrence Dickerson; his sibling Quinn Carter; and his grandparents, Rosalie Slidell and Samuel Dickerson. He is survived by: his wife Sheralyn Dickerson; his children, Tyiana, Gary Jr. and Tremaine Sr.; his grandchildren, Tremaine Jr., Tony, Trent, Trayvon, Tray, Gary III, Gia and G'La; his siblings, Karl, Eric (Katrina), Marilyn Dickerson, Don Carter (Shelitha), Cynthia Payne, Veronica and Cornella Dickerson; his godson Chris Barnes (Melissa); and his siblings-in-law, Reginald Stansberry (Latoya), Kylineetra Stansberry, Deidra Biagas (Arthur), Dionne Winters, Lakeisha Brown, Brooke Belonga and Kimberly Reynolds.
All those in attendance are encouraged to wear a face mask.
