She was predeceased by: her child Casandra Hicks Ivory; her grandson John Roberts, III; her parents, Steve Johnson and Olivia Johnson; and her siblings, Danny Johnson, Horace Johnson, Morris Johnson, Steve Johnson, Rev. Forest Johnson, Jake Johnson, Melvin Johnson, Eloise Johnson, Rosie Mae Johnson and Eliza King.

She is survived by: her daughter Susan Jackson (Karl, Sr.); her grandchildren, Walter Ivory Jr. (Chianti), John Ivory, Alvin Ivory (Anthnika), Jemiah Ivory, Jeremy Ivory, Nechell Ivory and Caleb Ivory; her sisters, Louella Joseph (Clifton) and Amelia Collins (Elvin); Alvin Hicks. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
