It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gregory West of New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Gregory departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gregory may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gregory leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha and Nick West, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, John, Franzelle, Twanna, Gregory Jr., Lester and Frank. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, four God-children, three sisters, one brother, his mother-in-law, five sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Orleans Parish. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
