It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hannah McKenzie of New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Hannah find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her son Shawn Duncan; and her grandsons, Dwight Crier, Jr. and Frank McKenzie. She is survived by: her children, Alfreda McKenzie, Melvin McKenzie, Sr., Michael McKenzie, Taletha Duncan and Cassandra Duncan. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Impact Ministry (8612 Chef Menteur Hwy, New Orleans, LA 70127).
