It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen B Kelley of New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on March 18, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Helen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Helen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parent Ora Earls-Carter. She is survived by: her children, Leondra Kelley (Connie) and Thoris Kelley; her sister Bessie Thomas; and her uncle Prentist Earls. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
