With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry Bowen Sr. in New Orleans, Louisiana, born in Cordele, Georgia, who passed away on October 10, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda Bowen; his son Henry "Chet" Bowen Jr.; his stepchildren, Charlie Schielder (Marilyn), Karen Coci (Mike) and Lisa Glasscock (David); his siblings, Herman Samuel Bowen (Becky), Carlton Jim Bowen, Herman "Hermy" Edwin Bowen, Eric Antonio Bowen (Tammy), Daniel Bowen, Matthew Bowen, Betty Lynn Dunning (David) and Denice Bowen; his parents, Herman Bowen and Louise Moody; and his siblings, Chris Sherman Bowen, Thomas Evans and Janeen Cook.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the West Union Baptist Church (560 W Union Rd, Carriere, MS 39426). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
