He is survived by: his children, Henry James (Jolanda), Sylvia J. Pierre, Sharon Jones (Percyl), Leroy D. James and Vanessa Cazenave; his sister Mable Franklin; his siblings-in-law, Myra Ard and John Burris (Lillie Mae); his wife Evelyn James; his children, Evelyn Kim, Darrell and Kenneth James; and his brothers, Leroy Franklin and Jesse Franklin, Jr.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church (2805 General Taylor St, New Orleans, LA 70115). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
