We announce the death of Henry Lane (New Orleans, Louisiana), born in Woodville, Mississippi, who passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 88. Henry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Lane and Sonny Lane; and his siblings, Mamie Lane-Turner Dan, Richard, Ellen, Herman and Ollie Lane.
He is survived by: his sisters, Erma Lee Johnson and Evelina Lane. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the James Chapel Baptist Church (4228 Thalia St, New Orleans, LA 70125). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
