He was predeceased by: his parents, Augusta "Gussie" Henrietta Braun and Herbert Frank Wax, Sr.; and his son Gregory Paul Wax. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Seghers; his children, Bradley Wax (Cheri Fenner) and Karen Falcon (James); his stepchildren, Diane Griffin and David Griffin Jr.; his stepsister Jacquelyn Madden; his grandchildren, Amelie Wax Reeves (Brian), Ryan Wax, Garret Wax and Meghan Falcon; his stepgrandchildren, Braeden and Brendan Bertucci; his great grandchildren, Callen, Cohen, Paul and Ainsley; and his uncle Gus. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lake Lawn Funeral Home (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
