He is survived by: his wife Lendell Young of Farmersville, Texas; his daughters, Nichole Davis of Terry, Mississippi, Tonique Ruffin (Ernest) of Memphis, Tennessee and Ingrid Young (Lafiere) of Farmersville, Texas.; his sisters, Dorothy Barnes of Houston and Daisy Jones (James) of New Orleans, Louisiana.; his cousins, Alfonso Massey and Leo Griffin; his grandchildren, Christopher Davis, Kyle Horton, Erin Horton, Anaya Ruffin, Nia Ruffin, Ashanti Williams, Zaria Carter, Zaylon Pointer, Xa'Vion, Lafiere and Damani Ward; his great grandchild Mazi Jamison; and his goddaughter Jenelle Hughes.
