Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Hugh leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Ellis Wilson and Ella Lee Lewis Wilson; and his sister Clara Wilson Barnes. He is survived by: his siblings, Melvin Wilson (Jennifer), Celina Wilson, Virginia Wilson, Annette Wilson, George Wilson (Dana), Richard Wilson and Debra Wilson; his uncle Ceophus Lewis; and his aunt Doretha Lewis. He is also survived by nieces, great niece, and nephews, cousins, church community and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethel Church of Christ (25333 Par Rd 59, Franklinton, LA 70438). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
