It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacquelyn Miller Hinkel (New Orleans, Louisiana), who passed away on October 20, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jacquelyn had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Jacquelyn may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: her husband David Henry Hinkel; and her parents, Alvin Louis Miller and Rosemary Dorothy Moore Miller. She is survived by: her daughters, Lauren Faust (Doug) and Lisa Mipro (Darrell); and her grandchildren, Morgan Faust Subervielle (Matt), Brady Faust, Bailey Mipro and Bryce Mipro. She is also survived by numerous cousins, a niece and nephew.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home (3827 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70119). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Roch Cemetery (1725 St Roch Ave, New Orleans, LA 70117).
