He was predeceased by: his parents, Superintendent Henry Robinson Sr. and Missionary Sadie Robinson; his wife Shernia Robinson; his siblings, Dorothy Mae Taylor, Henry Robinson Jr., Joe Robinson, Brenda Robinson and Alfred Robinson Sr.; and his grandson Jyron Robinson.
He is survived by: his children, Tarshia Robinson-Skipper (Cleveland Skipper), Ivory Robinson-Delaney, James A. Robinson Jr. and Ashley Robinson; and his sister Willie Pearl Allen (Ananias Allen). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
