Jan Spizer Seltzer Obituary

We announce the death of Jan Spizer Seltzer of New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 77. Jan will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. David Spizer and Jean Spizer; and her husband Donald Carl Leavitt. She is survived by: her siblings, Dale Spizer Aronson and David Bruce Spizer; her daughters, Amy Seltzer Malish [Jedd] and Corinne Seltzer Skott (Mike); and her grandsons, Benjamin Malish, David Malish and Nathan Skott.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM.
