It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice J. Fields (New Orleans, Louisiana), who passed away on November 25, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Jones and Leona Jones; and her siblings, Cleatter Landry and Edwina Jones. She is survived by: her children, Richard Louis Fields (Natalie), Wanda Marie Fields and Troy Maurice Fields; her sisters, Millie Jones and Rose Jackson; her grandchildren, Sydney Fields, Kylie Lewis, Taylor Fields Booker (Travis) and Jordan Fields; and her great grandchildren, Kayson Cormier, Kayse Cormier and Avery Booker. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home (3827 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70119). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
